Gain Confidence and Skills in Administration, Interpretation, and Documentation of the Weekly Calendar Planning Activity (WCPA)
Description: This 3-hour live virtual course will provide an in-depth review of administration and interpretation of the Weekly Calendar Planning Activity (WCPA). This functional cognitive performance-based assessment will be illustrated through case examples across conditions (adults and adolescents). Participants will be asked to apply knowledge and methods to case scenarios. Standardized protocol for administration and scoring of the WCPA, as well as common client performance error patterns, analysis of strategy use, interpretation of results, documentation, and implication for treatment, will all be discussed. Participants will be asked to apply knowledge learned during the course when scoring the WCPA in real-time. Updated research on applied use across populations as well as psychometric properties will be highlighted. Active participation is required. Break-out rooms, worksheets and interactive discussions with use of the chat feature will be utilized to assess the learning objectives stated below.
